Haziq Zikri (born 5 April 1991 in Kuala Lumpur) is a Malaysian footballer.

He recently played for Harimau Muda A in the Malaysia Super League.[1]

Career

Haziq was born at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was noticed by the Football Association of Malaysia in November 2008. After Haziq visa's expired, the Football Association of Malaysia gave Haziq a contract to play for the newly created, Harimau Muda that was set to join the 2009 Premier League season.[2]

Haziq was officially part of the Harimau Muda squad in 2009. Haziq failed to make a big impact on the team and only managing making seven appearances and giving one assist in 16 games. But despite being a substitute for most of the season, He was impressed by Ong Kim Swee and Ong Kim Swee later chose him to join Malaysia national under-19 team for the 2010 AFC U-19 Championship qualification. Haziq did not manage to make any appearance in the tournament. Harimau Muda later won the 2009 Premier League Malaysia.
