The "Red Terror" Martyrs' Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa was established in 2010 as a memorial to the victims of the Marxist Derg regime.

Since 1974, reigned in Ethiopia a military government with support from the Soviet Union. According to Amnesty International, the Derg regime killed millions of Ethiopians, mostly young intellectuals.

In the museum various torture instruments are displayed. In addition, original skulls and bones, coffins, bloody clothes, and photographs of victims are exhibited.
