Version History

1.0 1.0 was released on April 25, 2011 on Windows. It featured a Cessna 172SP, 15 airports in the San Francisco Bay area, an autopilot with 2 modes, 5 camera modes, weather settings, time settings, and progress/achievement features. The simulator included a basic tutorial on takeoff and handling, a yoke control, and rectangles to help land smoothly. It featured a map, with engine instruments. The engine instrument were later removed when more aircraft got incorporated in the game. 1.2 Fixed a sky color issue. 1.3 1.3 added a Cirrus SR22 G3 Turbo with 4 camera modes. 1.4 In 1.4, 2 new aircraft were added. A Boeing 737-800 in Southwest livery, and the Super Decathlon. The game now supported rudder control, propeller wash, pinch-to-zoom mode for the camera views and support for the gear/spoiler retraction animations. 1.5 New scenery was added to the Southern California region. This was the first version of the simulator to feature an ILS system. The HUD was given a minimap - a scaled down version of the main map to track immediate progress, showing navigation points and airfields around the aircraft's current position within a small radius. It was also given a control sensitivity. 1.6 fixed graphic issues. 1.7 1.7 added the Airbus A380 in Air France livery. This release was positive for reviewers.
