Caluire et Cuire is a commune in the Rhône department in eastern France.
It is the third-largest suburb of the city of Lyon, and lies 4km north-by-east of Lyon.[1] It is a component commune of the metropolitan Urban Community of Lyon. It is also the sixth biggest city of Rhône.
