It started from locksmith company which produced devices for rail industry, motorization, defence industry, mining industry and also served other industrial services. Its primary responsibility nowadays is production and design [1] of land mines (according to Ottawa Treaty - only AT mines[2] [3]) for the Polish Army. Founded in 1868, it is currently employing 233 people.
Since 2010 BELMA has been a member of Division Ammunition of BUMAR GROUP.
