Celtic set out to redeem their final day loss of the Scottish Premier League trophy in season 2003–04 and win the Scottish Cup. They competed in the Scottish League Cup. The highlight of their SPL season was the setting of a new record for the most number of goals scored in a whole season – 105 goals.
