I know that you were blocked for adding links to your own YouTube account but that's not why I removed the information from the article. The reason I did it was that the singer and the song are not notable by Wikipedia's standards (WP:BAND). If the singer had an article, I could see maybe including the information. We have to draw the line of inclusion/exclusion somewhere. That generally accepted line is "does the subject of the sentence have an article here?". That keeps every garage band from including themselves in various places just because they wrote a song about someone famous. But if that garage band goes on to be notable, then they can have an article and thus be mentioned in other articles. See the difference? <span style="font-family:monospace;">Dismas</span>|(talk) 01:46, 28 February 2015 (UTC)

My reason for removing your Alexis Texas edits

The reason I did it was that the singer and the song are not notable by Wikipedia's standards (WP:BAND). If the singer had an article, I could see maybe including the information. We have to draw the line of inclusion/exclusion somewhere. That generally accepted line is "does the subject of the sentence have an article here?". That keeps every garage band from including themselves in various places just because they wrote a song about someone famous. But if that garage band goes on to be notable, then they can have an article and thus be mentioned in other articles. See the difference? Dismas|(talk) 01:46, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
