Hugo Filipe dos Reis Moutinho (born 1 January 1982 in Lisbon) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Cypriot club Pafos FC as an attacking midfielder.

Career

A graduate of Sporting CP youth academy, Moutinho played for the B team between 2001 and 2007.[2] In 2004, he joined Pampilhosa, playing for the club till 2006.[2] He was given a five match ban for assaulting the match officials during a match.[3] He also scored a goal against Fatima.[4] During his stint with Pampilhosa, he featured in 51 matches, scoring in 6.[2] He spent the 2006/07 season with Mafra, scoring 3 goals in 24 matches.[2]

In 2007, Moutinho joined Romanian second tier club Drobeta.[2] He became the first Portuguese player to score a hattrick in Romania in November 2008, against Mureşul Deva.[5] After playing for Turda in 2009/10,[6] he returned to his country Portugal, by joining third tier club Oriental in 2010.[2] He played 22 matches,[2] scoring two goals, one against Mafra[7] and against Pinhalnovense.[8]

In 2011, he returned to Romania, signing for Turnu Severin.[9] After two seasons, in 2013, he joined Liga I side CSMS Iasi for an undisclosed fee.[9] He played 13 matches for the club[1] and scored the only goal against Concordia Chiajna.[10]

In the summer of 2013, he entered Cypriot football by signing for Cypriot club Aris Limassol.[1] In the December of the same year, his contract was terminated by the club, and he joined AEK Kouklia another club of the same country.[11] The following season, he stepped a division lower, signing for Pafos of Cypriot Second Division.[12]
