Tal como somos (English title: Such as we are) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Julissa and Juan Osorio for Televisa in 1987.[1] It is an original story by Carlos Olmos and Enrique Serna and directed by Antonio Acevedo.
Julissa and José Alonso starred as protagonists, Leticia Calderón and Eduardo Palomo starred as young protagonists, while Alejandra Ávalos and Enrique Álvarez Félix starred as main antagonists.
Plot
Ángel is a fisherman from Mazatlán, widowed then decided to move with his family to Mexico City in search of fortune. Arriving are assaulted and thieves, to remove the earrings to Margarita, daughter of Ángel, will leave the ears. Despite this ominous beginning, the fisherman and his family are installed in a building where they meet Eva, a very unhappy woman who lives tortured by her husband and daughter. Miguel, her invalid husband, pretending to be a good person, but is a born criminal. Years ago a woman abused and Eva not only forgave him but took the child and raised him as his own.
Miguel blames Eva his accident and poisoned her daughter Delia against it. Delia has such a strong hold by his father who is practically "in love" with him. Eva hates and as a manifestation of his morbid nature, spy their parents when Miguel vainly tries to make love to his wife. That's another mental torture that the evil inflicted Eve because, in reality, only pretends to be invalid. Eva frustrated as wife, mother and wife find the full passion in the arms of Ángel.
