Hot can have several meanings:
- Relatively high temperature.
- Can describe spicy food.
- Slang term referring to the attractiveness of a person. A person who is considered extremely attractive is said to be "hot", e.g., "That girl is hot!", or when an item was recently robbed and is not desirable, despite it's value: "This car is so hot it burns!".
- Jargon used to describe radioactivity. "Be careful, the room is hot".
- Hot is also the name of a 1970s pop music group whose best-known song is "Angel In Your Arms".
- Used to describe an upset or angry person. "I'm so hot, I could hit her."
