As far as I understand, he did not discover (as in, isolate and/or identify) the element Yttrium, but found a mineral that turned out to contain Yttrium, which was later identified by Gadolin. [[User:Mike|Mike]] ([[User talk:Mike|talk]]) 19:18, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
