Hi Trivialist, |
|||
I noticed you marked the page Eliacom ESP for deletion. I've said much of what I'll say here on that talk page as well. I guess I can't see what information on that page can be construed as an advertisement, since I'm describing something that is free. |
|||
Also, compare to similar pages: [[phpMyAdmin]], [[HeidiSQL]], [[SQLyog]]. I thought I was very careful to follow the same format as was used on those pages. |
|||
If you can give me some indication of what is different, or what is advertising on the page, I'll remove it, but at this point, I'm at a loss. |

Edit summary
Hi Trivial,
Could you please use an edit summary when removing categories from articles?
For example, I'm baffled as to why you removed what appears to be relevant categories from the CSI (franchise) article.
Regards, —MelbourneStar☆talk 07:39, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- Likewise, I'm confused as to why you removed Category:Media franchises from the SpongeBob SquarePants article. I've reincluded it, but if you feel that it shouldn't be used, then please explain before removing it again. --Jpcase (talk) 18:47, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back to me. :) --Jpcase (talk) 18:58, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
Yerdle proposed deletion
Hi Trivialist,
Thanks for keeping an eye on the Yerdle article! I have expanded it an written a little motivation on why I think it should remain on Wikipedia (see talk of article).
Keep up the editing :), best regards, --Freediving-beava (talk) 21:05, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
Grounds for Coffee article speedy deletion
I contested the deletion of it, but another user within less than 40 minutes deleted the article (probably without reading my contesting reply - to request more time). I don't know why that is? How often is 'speedy'? 24 hours? 1 hour? If an article such as this which is 'in the works' of being created, and is just barely getting off the ground, to delete the article that quickly is only going to create a negative atmosphere towards newer users wanting to contribute to Wikipedia. Zul32 (talk) 00:45, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note you left me in my talk page about creating a new userspace draft! I've been in Wikipedia for many years now, but all this time never knew about that feature. I'll certainly take advantage of it... now all I have to do is figure out how to create one. I'll experiment a bit with it and see how it goes. Thanks for your help! NOTE: I don't know who put that 'leave now' message on there on this section I removed it Zul32 (talk) 14:55, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
My edits to Looney Tunes related articles
Hi Trivialist, Please include a summary of why you remove certain prints. It gets annoying when u delete stuff but don't explain why u did. This includes The Essential Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies filmography (1929–39) Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies filmography (1940–49) Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies filmography (1950–59) List of Bugs Bunny cartoons List of Daffy Duck cartoons Porky Pig filmography List of cartoons featuring Sylvester The Golden Age of American animation and other Looney Tunes related articles. Every day the edits I make, look like they get deleted by you. That's why I use Wikia and not Wikipedia. Oh and by the way, low pitch cartoon means sound doesn't sound normal. Watch Awful Orphan on Super Cartoons. You'll see what I mean. Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection Volume 1 also has the evidence low pitch cartoon for Awful Orphan. List of TopGolf location milestones
Thanks for nominating List of TopGolf milestones for deletion a while back. The user has now cheekily created List of TopGolf location milestones which is presumably the same. Perhaps you could delete this new page too. Nigej (talk) 13:55, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
Jackie Onassis (Band)
Hi,
These guys get a lot of radio play in Australia for a bunch of songs, and are signed to Sony as well as charting on on the Australian ARIA charts. They're also referenced on other band's pages. They have played multiple national tours and also many festivals. They were also played on BBC Radio 1. — Preceding unsigned comment added by YoungPoundcake (talk • contribs) 03:42, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
Africans Abroad
Thank you for your guidance, I was trying to save and reserve the page to continue updating it. I am the author of the work 1980 Africans Abroad, and do own the copyright, but being new to Wikipedia I could not quite understand how this page Africans Abroad is done properly. I am learning as I go along, so any directives or specifics to enlighten me on the proper presentation is always appreciated. So I am willing to have your team assist me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IADN2014Dec (talk • contribs) 10:06, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Respectfully requesting additional details
Hi Trivialist,
Thank you for your feedback on the APUS Group article. Would you mind clarifying which parts reflect advertisement / non-neutral language? I would like to submit a revision if possible if you can help provide additional guidance.
Thank you.

Hi Trivialist Linux Accra will be worked on soon. And this page should not be deleted because the community (linux ACCRA) is one of the surving and still active communities advicating opensource movements. I assure you, I'll work on it soon.Thatkidkwakku (talk) 16:22, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
Could you please delete the Iooo articleAndro498 (talk) 16:37, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Andro
Submit Press Release 123. You said you deleted it for a variety of reasons which is rather vague. Some parts might be promotion so I am going to edit those out and put back up. They meet the notability requirements with articles in Forbes and others. Please list specific reasons. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Supereditor1001 (talk • contribs) 23:07, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Category:Orson Welles
Hello; I see that you've removed this category from a number of articles, and no edit summary was provided to help explain the reasoning. Can you explain why? — WFinch (talk) 00:35, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks — I just caught a few more and restored the category. — WFinch (talk) 03:52, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

Category:Family Guy and Category:American Dad!
Hi. I've seen that you have removed one or both categories from several articles relating to them. Can you at least explain to me why? IPadPerson (talk) 00:09, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
FYI
Hello T. I wanted to let you know that 71.52.147.147 (talk · contribs) has returned from its block and has gone right back to the problematic editing that brought about a said block. I took care of the recent edits and left a notice on the talk page. It is late where I am so I wanted to clue you in about this in case they perform more edits while I am away from WikiP. Thanks for you time and for dealing with this person in the past. MarnetteD|Talk 04:39, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
reference link to wiki article subsection
Hi Trivialist
I have a query relating to creating a ref which links to an existing wiki article's subsection. The ref I created is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_D_(dance_group). It appears incomplete in the sandbox article's ref list. Not sure if it is more appropriate to be an Internal link rather than a ref which I would like it to be. I could not find any further info on whether or not I have done this one correctly before submitting.
Can I trouble you to have a look at it please? Cornelius Henson/sandbox ref no.7
kind regards

63rd Creative Arts Emmy Awards (Eminem)
Hello, Mr.Trivialist I know Eminem din't receive the Emmy award (commercial) But as featured artist at the ad. But Aaron Allen did receive the award she's from Weiden & Kennedy agency actually a creative director from .she said that she wondered if humor would win instead.... after that he earned the award not won as a featured artist as I say ..so I really don't have the source of what I say cuz I don't remember the site right now..but. I'm sure about what I said but I have a URL about the reliable source but not the original it a copied verified source that I don't remember from Emmy site but it's a related one here it is The page[1]………… Kagemaru2022 (talk) 23:39, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
This edit made no sense
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Making History (novel), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 06:57, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Category:Crowdfunded films
You're most welcome. I do think Category:Films by type more helpfully groups it with other categories of films by type of funding, such as Category:Sponsored films... best, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 23:00, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
Napoleon Hill
Hello. You removed the content I added to Napoleon Hill, and labeled it as spam, and I am confused as to why? It was cited, and a link to another article (which you are also contesting). Napoleon Hill is listed as an author on the 2013 book. Why take that down? I also added some more citations to Michelle Seiler-Tucker, which hopefully gives the article more validity.

Speedy Deletion of DB Studios
I was wondering if you'd reconsider your speedy deletion tag on the DB Studios article. I posted an almost-empty version just so I would be able to upload an image for the article. It's a little more fleshed out now, and it will be expanded on further in the coming days. Let me know your thoughts. Please reply on my talk page under your original heading. Thanks! --Steevven1 (Talk) (Contribs) (Gallery) 01:09, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Rianna Loving Page
Hello,
Please explain how to create an article that will not be taken down or mistaken for being autobiographical. I'm planning on resubmitting from a differently named account (I am not actually Rianna Loving, I only wished to make a page about her and used her name for the Wiki account) - will this help? What parts did you find inappropriate, and how can I change them?
Thanks, NicoleRianna Loving (talk) 00:03, 7 March 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Ahecht. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Shanghai Disneyland Park, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ahecht (TALK

Autobiography - Skylar Tibbits
Trivialist - thanks for your note on autobiographies. I certainly understand. I'm happy to have the article reviewed to show it's notable and accurate. I believe it follows the guidelines for living people and can be quickly validated.
Please feel free to review and suggest changes.

please Trivia, the Young & Free International page was still under improvement. I humbly ask you to please remove the "speedy deletion" tag. Please, I will improve it. Belguin.Belguinprosper (talk) 00:56, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
Wasteland speech
Wikipedia goes by "common name", not always by what is most technically correct. The phrase "vast wasteland" is drastically more famous than anything else in or about the speech... AnonMoos (talk) 19:31, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- P.S. It's pretty much the same as the Cornerstone Speech, which wasn't called that by Alexander Stephens, but became known by that name because the cornerstone quote was much more famous than anything else in it. AnonMoos (talk) 19:55, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
Why abbreviations in some but not others, then?
It just seemed like you guys were making abbreviations randomly, just because they made you high or something, since those specific ones aren't used in everyday speaking. Well then why don't you guys put abbreviations for *all* items that have 3 or more parts to their terminology?
71.219.22.154 (talk) 14:40, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
No, by "high," I meant "high on drugs." If someone hasn't gotten to them yet, then why, after you do your precious reversion, don't you immediately go back to your other articles where the abbreviations weren't used yet and "fix" the "problem"?
And if what you're saying is true, then why do you insist on making sure there's one at One Magnificent Morning when there's only one tiny little other reference to the name later in that article?
71.219.22.154 (talk) 14:56, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
- Trivialist, stupid shadeed can't pay enough attention to simple explanations about why I had been using a few different addresses, even though I explained it more than once. I already told him that I had tripped over my too-short phone cord and yanked it out, and every time that gets disconnected they send me a new address. Of course I can fix that.
- Which editing did you suppose was "being disruptive"?
- When were you planning on making the changes to One Magnificent Morning like you said, then?
