The Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid is a Formula One racing car designed by Mercedes to compete in the 2015 Formula One season. The cars are being raced by 2008 and 2014 World Drivers' Champion Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
Competitiveness
The car was again another instant success, with Lewis Hamilton taking pole position for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton and Rosberg moved clear of the field at the start of the race, and ultimately recorded a 1–2 finish, over half a minute clear of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who finished in third place.[4][5]
