Wasn't Jeff Jewish? I think he was. Along with Kerry King! (So it's perfectly alright for him to write the Angel of Death song.) ([[Special:Contributions/120.149.118.251|120.149.118.251]] ([[User talk:120.149.118.251|talk]]) 04:42, 7 May 2013 (UTC)) |

Spider bite and later illness might not be related
Experts Shoot Down Speculation That Spider Bite Led to Jeff Hannemen's Death
I think this is an important point as people rely on WP for health information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.119.93.202 (talk) 18:35, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. I added a link to this reference and removed the sentence that claimed otherwise, as the two referenced citations did not support the claim that the sentence made. Also, in light of what appears to be a common view on the net that the spider bite killed him, and given that his death and the necrotizing fasciitis also appear potentially unrelated, according to the ABC News report, it might warrant a little bit more language on the possible connection. As it stands, the Illness and Death section is dominated by the illness portion.

How come Wikipedia don't mention Jeff Hannemans' contribution to the bestie boys album license to ill?
Wikipedia omitted a very important little known fact. That Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King contributed to the Beastie Boys album License to Ill. They played all the solos on that album.Cite error: A <ref>

Personal Life
"Hanneman was a reformed cocaine and pill abuser, much like Slayer vocalist/bassist Tom Araya. They decided to quit when they realized "this can lead to only death or something, this is going too far." Hanneman was a long-time fan of the Oakland Raiders."
The last sentence of this paragraph has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject matter of the paragraph and belongs in a separate paragraph.
