The Bankhead Brothers were a group of 5 brothers who all played professional baseball in the Negro Leagues. They were the children of a coalminor named Garnett Bankhead.^[1] The group of brothers consisted of Fred Bankhead, Joe Bankhead^[2] , Sam Bankhead ^[3], Dan Bankhead ^[4] , and garnett bankhead ^[5]
