Anubha Bhonsle is an Executive Editor of CNN-IBN and a TV journalist based in India.
Career
Bhonsle started her career with The Indian Express in 1999 and then moved to be part of Miditech, the Zee Group. From there she joined New Delhi Television where she was part of the political bureau and an anchor.[1] Bhonsle joined CNN-IBN at inception, as prime-time anchor and Senior Editor.[1]
Bhonsle researched on America’s political history and the role of gender and race during her fellowship. She has taken up social issues and along with her team has led important projects.[1]
She edits the Citizen Journalist Show and reports from Kashmir and the North East regularly.
Awards
Bhonsle's work has been acknowledged from a social perspective and she has been awarded for her contribution.[2]
- NT Awards for Best Reporter in 2013 and became the winner at Asian TV Awards in Singapore for Best Cross Platform Content.[2]
- Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism for Politics, where she features the Paisa Power and Politics and revealed the connection of those who contend in Politics and their supporters

- NT Awards for featuring the “My Child is Gay” and the Irom Sharmila’s 10-year fast in 2011
- The Citizen Journalist Show won the Best News programme award at Indian Television Academy Award 2009 and the best cross platform show at the Asian Television Awards in 2010.

- Best Journalist on ITA for reporting about the women under the defense forces.
- Documentary about the Children of Conflict from Kashmir was chosen by the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association[2]
