Anticyclonic rotation or circulation is movement in the direction opposite to the Earth's rotation. In the attached video an example of an anticyclonic couplet to a supercell is documented. Note that while the supercell itself is rotating in a cyclonic direction, the couplet is forced into an anticyclonic rotation due to the forward flank downdraft and inflow intersecting.
