Break My Stride was a major hit single for Matthew Wilder in 1983. This reggae-infused synth-pop song was perhaps best known for its incessantly catchy chorus ("Ain't nothing gonna break my stride, nobody gonna slow me down..."). chorus was also sampled for the Diddy song "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" in 1997. 'Break My Stride' was Matthew Wilder's only UK hit, it reached number 4 in the UK charts in Jan 1984.

Song was covered by

  • Unique II ("Break My Stride", 1996)
  • Blue Lagoon ("Break My Stride", 2004)
  • Herreys ("Det finns ingenting som hindrar mig")
