Timepass 2 (Marathi: टाईमपास २) is a 2015 Marathi film directed by Ravi Jadhav.It is the sequel for the 2014 hit timepass.It continues the incomplete lovestory of Dagadu(Rocky) and Prajakta(Praju) also starring Bhalchandra Kadam and Vaibhav Mangle. It is directed by Ravi Jadhav who has 100 percent success rate and provided prior hits like Natarang, Balgandharva, Balak-Palak, Timepass.
Plot
The story takes place after 15 years with grown up Dagadu (Priyadarshan Jadhav) and Praju (Priya Bapat).Young Dagdu( Priyadarshan Jadhav ) is a successful music company owner. Who has settled up himself , fulfilling his and his father's dream , also , Dagdu 's Friend Bal Bharati is a successful astrologist , Kombda is now a DJ working with Dagdu 's music company , and Malaria has become a politician. The movie begins with a scene in which Dagdu donates an ambulance for the people in his area , reflecting his caring attitude. After the event , Dagdu 's sister suggests him to marry , showing him photos of some girls, as a result , dagdu hesitates as he is still searching the love of his life. He gets to know that Prajakta ( Priya Bapat) is in Kudal , Konkan .
He goes for a search , now , as, Prajakta's father ,Shakal wants an educated , qualified guy , unlike Dagdu to marry his daughter. So Dagdu pretends that he is a Researcher working at Bhabha Atomic center. Now , Shakal is impressed. He decides to marry him with his daughter , not knowing that he actually is Dagdu. Now , as Prajakta lives in Mumbai he immediately goes to Mumbai , in the same Jeep , in which Dagdu comes. Shakal searches for her , in the apartment , finding that his daughter has changed her name to Urvashi. Now , her friend tells Shakal that she has gone for a shoot. Hence, Shakal goes to the location of shoot, finding that his daughter is dancing for an Item Dance Video in too short clothes. After watching the dance , he is broken.completely. He runs to slap her , but Dagdu , stops him , asking him to cool down , but when Shakal loses his temper, he goes and slaps her and brings her outside the hall . Prajakta , annoyingly tells him that this is not like her. But Shakal is completely broken . Also Dagdu is gone too . now , Shakal returns to Kulad. Dagdu , doubting his love , if it was just waste of time (TIMEPASS), asks his friends for advice. Then , Kombda advises him to let go Prajakta , but the teen Dagdu in his mind reminds him of their true love, then dagdu decides to marry no one except Prajakta.
How Dagdu tries to woo Prajakta again and convinces Prajakta's Father forms the crux of the story.

The Film is produced by Meghana Jadhav under Athaansh Communications and Nikhil Sane by Essel Vision.[2] and it is presented by Essel Vision.
This movie marks the fifth instalment of Ravi Jadhav after he directed four successful Marathi films Balgandharva,Natarang,Balak-Palak and Timepass.Recently he got a National Award for The Best Short Film for his Short Film Titled Mitraa

The film has received highly positive reviews. Vishal Kadam of Bookmyshow.com gave 3.5 out of 5 stars and declared movie 'An amazing romantic comedy' and 'A film that makes you believe in true love'.[4] Amruta Deshpande of indiannerve.com gave 3 out of 5 stars and declared movie Awesome.[5] justbollywood.in rated movie 3 out of 5 stars.[6]
Box office
Timepass 2 grossed around ₹3.75 crore (US$450,000) on the first day, ₹3 crore (US$360,000) on the first Saturday and ₹4.25 crore (US$510,000) on its first Sunday, taking the first weekend collections to ₹11 crore (US$1.3 million) . It Collected ₹2.79 crore (US$330,000) on monday,₹2.61 crore (US$310,000) on tuesday, taking the first weekend collections to ₹16.40 crore (US$2.0 million) in Maharashtra alone.[7]
