The 2015 Minnesota Vikings season will be the franchise's upcoming 55th season in the National Football League and the second under head coach Mike Zimmer. It will also likely mark the last season in which the Vikings will play their home games at the University of Minnesota's on-campus TCF Bank Stadium, while construction of the Vikings' new stadium, U.S. Bank Stadium, which is slated to open in 2016, takes place on the site of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. The Vikings will be looking to improve on their 7–9 mark from last season.

Preseason

Schedule

On February 11, 2015, the NFL announced that the Vikings will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The game will occur on Sunday, August 9, in Canton, Ohio, and will air at 7:00 p.m. CDT on NBC.[6] The remainder of the Vikings' preliminary preseason schedule was announced on April 9, with exact dates and times to be determined later in the spring. The Vikings will first host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders before road games against the Dallas Cowboys and the Tennessee Titans,[7] making this the third consecutive year in which the Vikings face the Titans in the preseason.
