Metrica is a global media analysis, media evaluation and PR planning consultancy. Headquartered in London, the business was founded in 1993. History
Gorkana’s roots stretch way back to 1880 and to a world where fortunes were made and lost on the back of ‘reputation’. William Durrant seized on the idea of reputation and built the first press monitoring business. From that point on the aristocracy and acting professionals could find out - and thereby manage - what was being said about them (and by whom) in Fleet Street as well as the world beyond. The principal remains the same today but things have moved on - we now connect organisations to critical information and insights to help them control and manage their reputation across all media platforms.
