Christine Adamo is board certified Oriental medical practitioner. She practices herbal medicine, nutrition, natural supplementation, acupuncture, and detoxification. Christine is trained in internal medicine and treats a variety of conditions such as digestive disorders, cardiovascular complaints, neurological issues, autoimmune diseases, and pain.

Christine's passion is in integrative oncology, providing specialized care for patients with cancer. She brings relief for patients struggling with the side effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. In addition, she offers assistance to patients who choose to bypass conventional cancer care.

Christine is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. While attending Pacific College, Christine interned at the San Diego Cancer Center, treating in oncology and hematology; San Diego Hospice, focusing on pain management and palliative care; and San Diego Rady Children’s Hospital, treating in oncology, hematology, and chronic pain. In addition, Christine received post graduate training in China at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She interned at the university's hospital doing rotations in oncology, cardiology, and pediatrics. Christine continues to attend various training programs in oncology, including the Annual Integrative Oncology Training Conference at University of Texas MD Anderson, named the top hospital for cancer in the U.S.

Throughout the year, Christine teaches various classes on Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Integrative Oncology. She's an instructor for the Osher Lifelong Learning Program at California State University, San Marcos. She also teaches continued education classes for medical students and other licensed health care providers.

Christine has a private practice in the North County of San Diego. She has worked as part of the integrative medical team at Calitornia Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence (cCARE) for the past five years. Most recently, Christine is a co-founder and owner of the San Diego Center for Integrative Oncology.
