The Crown College, also called The Crown College of the Bible,[1] is a Bible college, trade school, seminary, and music conservatory in Powell, Tennessee.
About
Dr. Clarence Sexton is the founder and president of Crown College. [2] [3] He and his wife Evelyn have faithfully served the Lord together since 1967. In 2012, he was invited to be a guest on the local Knoxville TV program "Anything is Possible" with Hallerin Hilton Hill. [4]
The faculty and students of Crown College agree to uphold the Crown Code, Crown's philosophy of education, and their statement of faith all of which are based on the Bible. [5]
Crown College is authorized for operation as a postsecondary educational institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.[6] The college applied to the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) in 2011 and was granted "candidate status" in November 2012.[7]

Student Life
The main campus of Crown College is home to classrooms, the Crown Bookshop[21], [22], the Lee Roberson Christian Heritage Center, the Great Hall dining area, and an ever-growing library. [23] Student housing is located on the campus of Temple Baptist Church and at the North Campus just a few miles down the road [24].
Crown College is a member of the Division II National Christian College Athletic Association, and fields teams in men's basketball, men's soccer, and women's volleyball. The Crown College Choir is a signature of the college, having performed across the United States and the United Kingdom.
Crown Christian Publications
Crown Christian Publications is based in Crown College, and is a ministry of Temple Baptist Church in Powell. Crown Christian Publications is a small publisher that specializes in books on Christian living and devotionals. Many of the books are written by the college's president, Dr. Clarence Sexton.
