Matthew Dallman (b. 1974) is an Integral Artist whose work explores "the archetype of integral" and the "transdisciplinary" in the field of art and aesthetics. Dallman describes his philosophy as having been influenced by Camille Paglia, Marshall Mcluhan, John Dewey, Norman O. Brown, and W. A. Mathieu.
Dallman was formerly a director of Integral University's Integral Art Center, but broke with Ken Wilber and Wilber's movement for various reasons. He now independently produces music, poetry, and integral philosophy. He is also the founder of POLYSEMY Magazine and of Electric Goose Productions, a multimedia and consulting company.
He has released several albums, and also composes for independent films. His music has been performed in various venues in Milwaukee, St. Louis, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Boston, New York City, Boulder, and Chicago. A composition for marimba is the soundtrack to the film, A Whirling Tango, directed by Hannah Dallman (Matthew's wife). It was an Official Selection of the 2005 Chicago International Film Festival, as well as other festivals.
