Hey - so I've been looking into variable speed fans as per your suggestion here, but I can't seem to find any trace of anything like what you described anywhere. When I search for things like variable speed fan or just about any other variation I've been able to think of I just find people who want to increase the number of speed settings on their fan and stuff like that - no fans that switch up their speed automatically. Any chance you could point me in the right direction? Maybe some search terms I'm not thinking of? Thanks. -Elmer Clark (talk) 17:53, 24 July 2015 (UTC) |

:The pair that I used were made by Lasko. They called is "variable speed mode". Holmes calls it "breeze mode". I've also seen it listed as "sleep mode". It would be nice if the industry would just accept one term for this. From what I've seen just Googling right now, it looks like Holmes has the best variable-speed fans.
