Please help me understand whether it is legitimate to cite quotations which appear on a Web site if one has no first-hand evidence that those statements were made. I am thinking of some of the statements quoted by Angel Air on their Web page for Linda Hoyle's The Fetch.^[2] I managed to locate one of the quotations (the one from Goldmine Magazine) on the Web and have cited it.
