The problem with finding information on which systems are actually in place world-wide is that the information available consists mostly of hyped-up press releases. Lots of promises and hype regarding future systems, and few facts. For example, there is a lot of press available about the Montreal Vacuum waste system, but after a bit of digging I discovered that it had actually been cancelled.

It makes me wonder if the examples of installed systems-- at least those without references -- should just be deleted. They make the article sound like advertising. [[Special:Contributions/198.58.150.217|198.58.150.217]] ([[User talk:198.58.150.217|talk]]) 06:34, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Proposed merge

I fully support the proposed merge - these are effectively duplicate articles. If there is no dissent I will make it happen. Velella  Velella Talk   11:38, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hype vs Reality

The problem with finding information on which systems are actually in place world-wide is that the information available consists mostly of hyped-up press releases. Lots of promises and hype regarding future systems, and few facts. For example, there is a lot of press available about the Montreal vacuum waste system, but after a bit of digging I discovered that it had actually been cancelled.

It makes me wonder if the examples of installed systems-- at least those without references -- should just be deleted. They make the article sound like advertising. 198.58.150.217 (talk) 06:34, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
