Dear Mr. Gillian, I am Boris Tsenter, Ds., PhD. In 1964 we got first patent concerning Ni-H2 battery #194155. You can find that via link www.patentdb.com Just type patent number in upper bar. We also got the first American patent #3669744.I can send you copy of all mentioned patents. We were awarded the first Ni-H2 patents in. England, Germany and France. Me and Kloss are 20 years citizens of USA and we will fight for the restoration of the truth. Let me know please what additional documents do you need for the proving of our priority. - We need a reliable source stating the fact. I can't read Russian, so if you believe the site http://patentdb.su meets RS guidelines, I might be able to help you to create a reference.– Gilliam (talk) 00:02, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
Question about rollbacker role
Greetings! As a member who find twinkle a life-saver (in terms of reverting good faith edits), I was hoping to request rollbacker rights through you, or inquire where I can make such a request. I do not feel I have enough experience yet to be request administrator-rights, however I would find it useful to have rollback privileges to simply the process of having to go through administrators for vandalism fixes that do not require a user block or ban. Would you be able to pass me along any information on whether this is possible? Thank you! Garchy (talk) 20:26, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
- If you get a few hundred more edits reverting vandalism in WP:RC Patrol, I will consider giving you the Rollback right.– Gilliam (talk) 03:40, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info! Cheers - Garchy (talk) 14:56, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

Wider block possible?
I noticed your recent proxy block of a 45.56.* IP. The Whois tool says this is Linode, and it's part of a /18 range. What about blocking the whole range?: 45.56.64.0/18 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)). There is no excuse for Wikipedia edits from a web hosting firm like Linode. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 03:29, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
- Done. If you know of more ranges please let me know.– Gilliam (talk) 04:15, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm sorry but I inadvertantly changed your page protection. I was so concerned with speed and deleting the obscene revisions that I didn't notice you had already protected the page. Samrajya S.R.A
Hello Gilliam, I hope that you are doing well. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve an ongoing issue with User:Samrajya S.R.A. For the past month, this editor has received multiple warnings, requesting valid sources be provided for WP:BLP changes to specific articles. All attempts to communicate have gone ignored. Is there an appropriate noticeboard to post this to? I'm not sure how best to proceed at this point. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 18:37, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, Yamaguchi先生. You can start a discussion at WP:BLPN. I don't know much about Indian film actors.– Gilliam (talk) 18:47, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you Gilliam. I have posted to BLPN regarding this matter: Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Nithin. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 19:07, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hello Gilliam. In additional to the BLPN, I have raised this growing concern to the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard yesterday. If your schedule permits, will you please review my findings and let me know if you share the same assessment? Regards, Yamaguchi先生 16:29, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

Jordan Spieth
Hello, Gilliam .. I was wondering, with the Jordan Spieth article averaging roughly 10,000 views per day (and one day recently it had over 140,000 views), and with the temporary protection you put on it a few days ago having worn off and earlier today a little bit of mischief had to be reversed on that article, would it be too much to ask that some more protection be put on it again right now to keep inevitable vandalism from happening in the next few days? I ask this because the Open Championship is about to begin tomorrow and it will be a high profile time for Spieth, and compared to a few days ago, the vandalism will likely pick up steam, making it a bit of a hassle for the golf editors to have to deal with. I figure having some protection again, but this time for a week or two (at the least), would discourage most would be vandals from going on there and making things difficult. Thank you. Johnsmith2116 (talk) 12:55, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
- I protected it for 3 days. Please let me know if protection needs to be applied again.– Gilliam (talk) 12:58, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

A prank only account
Hello Gilliam, this morning I found an IP editor who has been putting a death notice on several pages of celevrities who are not dead. And, afte I reverted them, that editor came to my talk page to call me a name. .. My main concern is the false death notices that said editor os doing, potentially causing panic for potential readers who might take it seriously. Please take a look at this account and do as you see appropriate:

What was wrong with my addition?
The other day I added on to the history section of the Le Sueur, Minnesota article with some more in depth incite on the history and importance of Green Giant on Le Sueur noticing only the Mayo House was represented in the History section. I was wondering what I had done wrong in writing such addition and would appreciate some insight for future articles.
P.S. what does ce stand for? JohnWerewright (talk) 17:50, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- My edit summary stood for copy edit. I felt the section you added overall pertained more to the economy section of the Le Sueur article than to the history section, so I had moved it down the page to a new section.[1]
Zevulun Charlop
As an alumnus of Yeshiva University, and of RIETS, I can tell you that this is one of Rabbi Charlop's most reknown current roles, which is also noteworthy especially due to his age and current state. As far as I am aware, merely booking this interview is itself a challenge. Knowing that Rabbi Charlop is still involved in completion of basically every student's career is also practically important for RIETS candidates- because the student will have to prepare for the interview. I did not expand into this detail, because some of it is borderlines on gossip, and to those that this applies- the repercussions will be understood. Furthermore, it would be difficult to prove that students prepare differently for Rabbi Charlop exit interviews than to whomever will replace him eventually, so I stuck to the simple facts. Please describe in more detail if you still feel that this is not important, or kindly change it back. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.238.188.117 (talk) 04:11, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

I've been doling out 48-hour blocks to any autoconfirmed accounts that vandalize the article over the protection, I suggest doing the same if any more show up. I didn't want to go full protection. Going to sleep now §FreeRangeFrogcroak 06:53, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- Not sure what's going on there. I can't find any confirmed reports of his death. Perhaps full protection would be the right move. We don't want a repeat of Sinbad, if you can recall that incident.– Gilliam (talk) 06:54, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

Guy
Sorry about not reverting edits far enough back on Guy. I think the person who added the inappropriate matter might have been in good faith, however. That person may have been intending to add a reference to Guy-wire by simply giving a simplified definition, and not realizing the purpose of the page. Donner60 (talk) 06:13, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi there GILLIAM, from Portugal,
is it possible to revert to my revision and not NFC123's? Or at least write "Born in Luanda," in the first line of the body of article yourself, please? This page has been bombarded with vandalism like crazy, but I am not one of the enablers OK, I have been fighting it with all my heart, have been doing so in thousands of articles in my (almost) nine years here.

Lisa Ann
Thanks for semi-protecting Lisa Ann's article, but I think it would be better to semi-protect it indefinitely. Two days of semi-protection just isn't enough. This article was previously semi-protected for a whole year (June 26, 2014 - June 26, 2015) and vandalism to it resumed within two days of the semi-protection expiring ([2]) and has continued on a regular basis until today. Rebecca1990 (talk) 17:11, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Midlife Crisis
Hi, I just received a note from you about whether a tag I left on the Midlife Crisis entry was a test. Apologies if I did not follow proper Wikipedia procedure. I didn't mean to leave a test tag but a real one.
I'm not sure whether there is a waffling or "too much quibbling" tag but oftentimes I go to a Wikipedia entry and it seems to be arguing with itself too much. Do you know what I mean? It reads as if someone first wrote a nice, well-presented article, with just the right amount of skepticism, and unfolding in just the right order. But that, afterwards, someone littered the first few paragraphs with specifics or severe doubts over whether the subject even exists, causing the article to read in a way that is all over the place.
That's what I found to be the case with the Midlife Crisis one. There's this "Crisis vs. Stressors" section that confuses the reader with a series of objections to the idea of talking about a Midlife Crisis, before we have even had a chance to get a handle on the subject.
2.30.138.254 (talk) 08:17, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- I have not heard of waffle in that context. Moreover, I suggest explaining what is wrong with the article on its talk page before adding the tag.– Gilliam (talk) 08:21, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
Refresh that cookie
Yeah, the pic above should now be two cookies. I was working through the troublesome edits at traffic light when you rolled it back a ways. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Request for talk page removal.
I think you better revoke User:31.47.245.36's talk page abilities. He is making an unblock request, and the reason he gave was, "RAHOWA". Studentaccountantghost4 (talk) 19:16, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
