Located at the Cape of Good hope farm at Bratton Fleming in North Devon. The site has a narrow gauge steam railway( currently closed to the public)and a large workshop. This is the location of probably the worlds most productive builder of new steam locomotives.

The Stirland family who own the business build about 3 new steam engines every year in gauges up to two feet. the largest user of the locomotives is the Rudyard Lake Steam Railway near Leek in Staffordshire

The railway also has a collection of 2 foot gauge Beyer Garratt locomotives from South Africa. There are links to the Welsh Highland Railway in North Wales. One locomotive was sold there early in 2006.
