He was selected to make his debut for the Geelong Football Club in Round 9 2011 against the Carlton Blues. Vardy injured his hip against [[Adelaide Crows]] in round 21 in 2011, and was out for a calendar year. Nathan Vardy (born 25 June 1991) is an Australian rules footballer for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Vardy is a mobile ruckman at 1.99 metres (6.5 ft) tall and weighing 101 kilograms (220 lb).
