I've been working hard to make sure the the long-finned pilot whale page is a scientifically accurate collection of information on these magnificent creatures. The reason I deleted the information about the neurons was because it didn't belong at the beginning of the article, but rather in a section focused more specifically on anatomy and physiology (which I was going to add when I get a chance after field season ends). Facts that are added, but not cited, cannot be included in the article, which is why I deleted much of what has been written in the last two months. The article was in horrible condition when I first started working on it last November.

Hi @DolphinSmile:,

I've been working hard to make sure the the long-finned pilot whale page is a scientifically accurate collection of information on these magnificent creatures. The reason I deleted the information about the neurons was because it didn't belong at the beginning of the article, but rather in a section focused more specifically on anatomy and physiology (which I was going to add when I get a chance after field season ends). Facts that are added, but not cited, cannot be included in the article, which is why I deleted much of what has been written in the last two months. The article was in horrible condition when I first started working on it last November.

Hi @DolphinSmile:,

Thanks for putting it back referenced! That is a big help, and I have moved it to the appropriate section, which I will fill in more information about as time allows. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if I took the numbers of glial cells out though as most people (general public) reading these articles aren't looking for specifics or every wee bit of information about a species, but rather the overall concepts. Then they can look up the paper and find the specifics from there. I'm worried that if a ton of specifics get included that people will be less inclined to read through the whole article, and will miss the information they are looking for.

Cheers,
