Carel Nicolaas Storm van 's-Gravesande (1841 in Breda – 1924 in The Hague), was a 19th-century painter from the Northern Netherlands.

Biography

According to the RKD he was a pupil of Willem Roelofs and Félicien Rops.[1] In 1865 he received his law degree from the University of Leiden, but was more interested in the arts. He started painting after he received his degree and became a follower of the Hague School of painting.[1] He worked during the years 1868-1893 in Brussels, and then moved to the Hague.[1] His portrait was painted by Jan Toorop[2]
