Athletics
Egyptian athletes have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following athletics events (up to a maximum of 3 athletes in each event):[1][2]

Shooting
Egyptian shooters have achieved the following quotas based on their performance at the 2014 ISSF World Shooting Championships.[3]
- Men's skeet – 1 quota place (Azmy Mehelba)
- Women's 10 m air rifle – 1 quota place (Shimaa Hashad)
Swimming
Egyptian swimmers have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following events (up to a maximum of 2 swimmers in each event at the Olympic Qualifying Time (OQT), and potentially 1 at the Olympic Selection Time (OST)):[4][5]

- Men's 200 m freestyle – 1 quota place (Marwan El-Kamash)[6]
- Men's 400 m freestyle – 2 quota places (Marwan El-Kamash, Akram Ahmed)[6]

- Men's 200 m individual medley – 1 quota place (Mohamed Hussein)

Table tennis
Egypt has qualified the following athletes for singles table tennis events.
