Could you explain your rationale for the deletion of D4nny under A7? As far as I see, the article very much made a claim of notability, claiming as such because of his single "Goodbye", and also references the press coverage he had received. Please send me a copy of the article, if you can, so I can more efficiently examine the content. — Grognard Extraordinaire [[User:Chess|Chess]] [[User talk:Chess|(talk)]] Ping when replying 12:30, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi, am an OTRS volunteer, we have now processed a ticket for this article (VRTS ticket # 2015061610016727 ). I have notified the original page creator to mark the text on the original web page as existing under a suitable free license. In the mean time, can you undelete? Thanks! And please ping me if you have any questions, yes? KDS4444Talk 03:41, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Arutiun, please read this about my views on slovenly people who copy their own website to create an article here. I am definitely not going to restore a page with sections headed "about us" and "contact us". I suppose you did do a tiny bit of work converting to wiki markup so I am willing to send you your text - please read this. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:06, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
(Note that I do not disagree with your assessment and beliefs towards article generation and the copying of web pages— my function here, of course, is only to verify a copyright release, for what that is worth, because there is no formal policy preventing such acts. But Lord, it's not something I would ever do myself! Just sayin'.) KDS4444Talk 09:03, 17 September 2015 (UTC)

Rachael Boyd

Apologies for my lack of knowledge about Wikipedia as I am a brand new user, attempting to add an article for a talented musical called Rachael Boyd. Twice the article has been removed, the first time I did not cite, the second time I may not of cited properly. However the article has again been removed. Would it be possible that the article can be created and then allowed to edit. Rachael is a very talented musical from Northern Ireland had has the right I believe to a page on Wikipedia, to not only tell her fans but relevant music bodies of her career. I apologies if this is the wrong place to contest. Any further information would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theshawe (talkcontribs) 00:44, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

Infobox Isle of Man TT course

Re: template deleted by yourself in March 2015.

I messaged you in August as a pre-cursor to an intended request for more info on your actual deletion, which at the time appeared to you as meaningless waffle User talk:RHaworth/2015 Sep 03#Template:?. This was relating to some long-term investigations where an editor was bulk-listing AfDs in late 2014/early 2015. Part of his sequence was the deletion of an infobox template, where he had replaced the infobox template with the edit summary "rm infobox, pending its deletion" (example here), dated 3 November 2014. Your deletion was dated 8 March 2015, seen here. I had no way of knowing if and when this infobox template had been nominated for deletion and exactly why/by whom.

I managed to Google this Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2013 July 14#Template:Infobox Isle of Man TT course, showing the same editor who bulk-nominated AfDs in 2014/5 had also nominated the template deletion in 2013 (result 28 July 2013: two "deletes" including nom, one "oppose" and one "comment").

I had contributed to some of these associated articles a little but had to abandon them. I then returned to develop the articles from June 2015 onwards, not knowing that the template had actually been deleted. If it was/is not there I cannot now use it, or even 'see' the whole sequence, just guess. For completeness, I need to know if it was ever deleted soon after 28 July 2013 and later resurrected, or if it was simply not actioned until your deletion in March 2015. If the latter was the case, why the delay, and how did you come across it, bearing in mind the same nom removed the template from articles as in the November 2014 example? Thank you, and I hope this is clear-enough. There is much more to this but I have tried to keep it simple, for now. -- Rocknrollmancer (talk) 02:46, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

  • You give the impression of someone who wants to find a conspiracy where there is none. Also you are too long winded. Your use of Google is an insult to the MediaWiki software and a clear demonstration of your ignorance of it. Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Infobox Isle of Man TT course tells you a lot more than your Google search found you. "I need to know if it was ever deleted soon after 28 July 2013 …" What does the deletion log entry say? Why do you not trust it?
You speak of "an editor" - why not name him: Andy Mabbett. Andy is a person who I have met "in the flesh". Like all good Wikipedians, he will be very willing to discuss his actions. So: make a date with Andy, fly over to Birmingham, buy him a drink in the The Pickled Piglet and make your complaints direct. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:49, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

FoamFatale - firefighting technology article

Hi RHaworth, nice to meet an activist who keep clean our encyclopedia. I am mentoring User:Gpont editor to avoid the promotional style and explain the floating Firefighting foam technology for the common. I wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement. -- Rodrigo (talk) 06:13, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

My fault. Please make the FoamFatale text visible. Greetings. -- Rodrigo (talk) 20:52, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Sir, I try to find the recyclable parts. -- Rodrigo (talk) 22:49, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

ETSAMCA

Dear Mr. Haworth, Please give access to my edited pages Extra Tropical Storm And Medicane Agency (ETSAMCA) and ETSAMCAWS. I'm new on wikipedia, so please tell me, what I done wrong. Deletion of the glossary

I am not sure why you are marking the glossary for speedy deletion. Mention of the glossary at This Is Water is currently a red link and it is better for people to know something about them. — Robin Singh (talk) 12:10, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

Bourne & Hollingsworth Group deletion

Hi I wanted to ask why my page has been deleted. As far as I could tell it complied with Wikipedia guidelines. I am new to this, so I'm hoping this is the right place to ask. The message said this: (R2: Cross-namespace redirect from mainspace), however, I don't know what that means. If you could please help me so I can make sure the page better complies with the guidelines. The page has now been moved to a draft here Draft:Bourne & Hollingsworth Group. Thanks in advance, Ilonam23 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ilonam23 (talkcontribs) 09:35, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

There's no need to be so rude! I am completely new to this and struggling with the Wikipedia instructions, so looking for help from the people who have rejected my page. However, that doesn't seem to the solution either. I am asking for help, and don't expect a snide comment back. Any help or advice is gratefully received so that I can improve my page so it fits with the Wikipedia guidelines. Thank you, Ilonam23 —Preceding undated comment added 10:42, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

1929 Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels football

I believe the page was put on quick deletion in error. You cite A7 and G11 as reasons for deletion, but the page was neither of those. It was falsely added by a patrol. Many sports teams have pages about each season of their sport. Moreover, 1929 was an important year for Oglethorpe football due to significant wins over larger teams. — Thornwell1835 (talk) 22:50, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

George Robert (Rip ) Rapp

I have another one for you, Draft:George Robert (Rip ) Rapp (geoarchaeologist). We now have an OTRS ticket on file, VRTS ticket # 2015070610014424. I know you hate undeleting things like this... Could you do it for me anyway? Thanks!! KDS4444Talk 10:59, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

Removal of photographs

Good afternoon Mr. RHaworth, At the end of May of this year you notified me User: CFHSPAO that you were going to remove the photos from all of the Surgeon General bios that I had uploaded - please see Canadian Surgeon General for the list of individual bios. I would like to know your reasoning behind removing the photographs. When I provided the information on them I listed them as the property of the Department of National Defence (DND) here in Canada and that authorization had been given to post them. I would really like to upload them again and have them stay put, so please tell me anything that I can possibly do in order to ensure that. Thank you so much for your time, I apologize for my lack of understanding of the Wikipedia procedures, I am still fairly new to the set-up and have not been able to fully grasp the ins and outs of certain things as of yet. — User: CFHSPAO 15:03, 23 September 2015

(talk page stalker) Unfortunately, we cannot accept copyrighted files with permission to post them here alone. We can only accept files which are licensed under one of the broader open-source licenses which permit re-use including commercial use and modification. Can you get such permission fron the DND? --Orange Mike | Talk 19:58, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
  • "Remove the photos from all of the Surgeon General bios" - what an hopeless exaggeration. I totally deny saying any such thing. Provide links to my message if you claim different. I have deleted just one image which you had uploaded twice. If the image of Claude Auger from the DND is available with a {{cc-by-sa-4.0}} or compatible licence, then upload it to the Commons. If it is not available under such a licence then uploading as fair use is inapplicable - Condition 1 of this policy would clearly be violated: the guy died in 2006 - there is a very good chance that a free use equivalent could be found - talk to his family. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:20, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

Deleted pages

Dear Mr. Rhaworth, You deleted two of my pages, namely User: A.S. Brown/Remilitarization of the Rhineland and User: A.S. Brown/Suez crisis under the grounds of copy-write violations. I did a few bit of work on those articles relating to those subjects, but since that time, other hands have changed the articles in directions that I find unwholesome. I just created those user pages to provide examples of how those pages should be out of the (probably vain) hope that other users might come around to my viewpoint. I took older, better copies of those pages and used them as the basis of the user pages to create example of how I think those pages should be, so if there are any copywrite violations, it would have been from the older copies of those articles. If there are copywrite vios, these are from the older pages I used, but regardless, if those pages are restored, I will more than happy to remove any copywrite vios. I would really like to have those pages restored so I can address your concerns. Thank you for your time, and please have a wonderful day! -- A.S. Brown (talk) 13:58, 24 September 2015 (UTC)

  • Incidentally do your random scribblings on your user page serve any purpose? And be aware re one of the few times when you wrote anything coherent on the page, Amy may never see it but certainly one other person has seen it - me. As to your deleted pages, text emailed. Bear in mind that if you repost, JustBerry (talk · contribs) may just happen to see them again and take the same view. Also keeping a copy of a Wikipedia article in user space for too long can be considered a copyvio of the original article. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:50, 24 September 2015 (UTC)

Dear Mr. Rhawoth Thank you for the e-mails. I will discuss this matter with JustBerry to see where he stands, and proceed from there. I was not aware of the time stipulation-certainly other users have kept copies of article in userspace for years-but I will bear it in mind. With all due respect, I don't believe I have to explain what I write on my userpage to anyone, but I suppose I should be flattened to find that there is somebody out there who has enough free time to concern themselves with that matter. But if you really must concern with matters that do not concern you, it was to bury things so that people like you would not read them-evidently not deep enough. But it does not matter anyway, it will all end under the northern lights. Thank you for your time. -- A.S. Brown (talk) 22:12, 24 September 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of AWeber page

Greetings Mr. Rhaworth, I see that you deleted the page for AWeber. I represent the company and would like to have the page restored as it provides historical information about our company. There are other email marketing companies whose pages exist still. If it's a matter of updating the page to remove non-factual/historical information, I'm happy to oblige. I would greatly appreciate your help in the matter. Thank you. Narolsonsd (talk · contribs) 14:45, 24 September 2015 (UTC)

I see that you removed an edit I made to another page regarding the deletion of the AWeber page. Can you please restore the page? It provides historical information about our company, similar to other email marketing companies (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact, GetResponse, etc.). I am happy to remove any content that is not appropriate. I would appreciate your help with this. Thanks. Narolsonsd (talk · contribs) 11:50, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of my page

Hello Rhaworth, I see you have deleted some of my page. I would appreciate if I could get the chance to copypaste it, before you just delete without saying it to me. It is really important text that has taken MANY months for me to create. So please, if you could give me a chance to copypaste the text to my computer, it would save my life. Regards from JonasJepsen, 00:23, 26 September 2015 (CEST)

I am talking about my own user page. You deleted my Odense Boldklub statistics and my New York Islanders team. If I could get the text back that you deleted, I would appreciate it. — JonasJepsen 13:46, 27 September 2015 (CEST).

I have done that now. Now what? Can you e-mail me my deleted notes. Or do I misunderstand something? — JonasJepsen 19:29, 28 September 2015 (CEST).

Deletion of my sandbox

Please restore my sandbox User:TrueHeartSusie3/Sandbox2 which you just deleted; JustBerry tagged it for deletion without realising that the page he claims I/Foster's current WP article plagiarize is a mirror site (http://www.fanpal.com/celeb/jodie+foster/ click 'read more' and scroll down and you will see Source: Wikipedia). I left a message about this on the sandbox's talk page, and it also showed up on the tag that I had contested the deletion; why on earth was this overlooked and my sandbox deleted?! — TrueHeartSusie3 (talk) 09:06, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for restoring it! I've not been able to find time to fully concentrate on overhauling the article, and prefer to re-write entire sections in my sandbox before editing the live article. It's usually easier this way, as often a lot of content has to be deleted or completely changed, and I usually don't have time to edit a section in one go. I will try to use "show preview" more in the future though, thank you for the tip! TrueHeartSusie3 (talk) 10:37, 26 September 2015 (UTC)TrueHeartSusie3

@TrueHeartSusie3: You may want to start a discussion on the article's talk page before making an overhaul like that to the mainspace. --JustBerry (talk) 11:37, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of WinToFlash page

Hi! I'm making first steps on the Wikipedia and decided to translate page about WinToFlash from russian wiki to English, because, I believe, it must exists in English version too. This app is good too and has a millions of users worldwide and there is an article about other apps like this - UNetbootin, Fedore Live USB (all for Linux, not for Windows). I created big article with list of all options about this app (this app, so I need this), roadmap, facts, wine start, etc. What did I do wrong? Why did you decide it's ad page - there is no links to buy, download, or others; this is only a description.

Please help me to understand and make the article better, because I'm lost now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JahrA90 (talkcontribs) 10:24, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

I see this sounds oddly for me but maybe I'm missing something. Can we do this way: I improve my article in the sandbox (I have a copy on my PC) and ask you again to review again as a superior and experienced member or wiki? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JahrA90 (talkcontribs) 15:53, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Deletion request Vmoney inc

This user Jay jay ey is removing the speedy deletion template from Vmoney inc and I suspect this user Jayson.ojeda is a sock account of user:Jay jay ey. As the article fails to meet WP:CORP where the sock user user:Jay jay ey kept removing the speedy tag on behalf of the master account user:Jayson.ojeda. I request you take look at the user's activities including the article. —  MONARCH Talk to me 10:34, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

I have requested an investigation into this sockpuppetery account, You may take look at Sockpuppet investigations/Jayson.ojeda and i need a checkuser to confirm whether both are accessed from same IP. Otherwise there will be risk in repeatedly removal of speedy deletion tags from this individual in the future. And If i used the bracket then that individual also will get notified with this regard where it will create unnecessary arguments here.  MONARCH Talk to me 11:10, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
