== Iris' early years ==

I understand that Iris worked at K-Mart for a brief period during her earlier years. Presuming that this is so, I am astounded that something so beautiful as Iris' music could possibly have origins in the land of the "Blue Light" special. Like a dear friend, her music first reaches for my hand and then touches my heart. It seems to me that there should be some mention that she is the person that the Goo Goo Dolls' song "Iris" is named after. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.39.106.73 (talk) 16:09, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
