The Jasgams, like the Dhund Abbasis claim lineage to the Abbasid dynasty. They originated from the Dhund Abbasi having migrated into the [[Pothohar]] region from the [[Murree Tehsil]]. They are descendants of the Abassid General [[Zarab Khan]] , head of the military forces in Khurasan before the collapse of the Caliphate. They lived in Dharankot, Tehsil Kahuta district [[Rawalpindi|Rawalpind]], where he is buried and his grave is marked.

Soura Khatril is a Village of union council Ghungrila near Mandrah town, Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi in Pothohar region of Punjab , Pakistan.

Locality

Soura Khatril is located 4km on eastern side of The historic Grand Trunk Road which passes through the center of Mandrah town. There is main road link to Chakwal, Khushab and Sargodha from Mandrah.

Tribes

Mainly the Jasgam Khatril (Jaskham Khatril) tribe is found in Soura. Few residents of the village also use the Title Chaudhary.
