Operation: Z.E.R.O. is the first Codename: Kids Next Door movie with a Y7/G {YG} rating. It is to be aired on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. and aired on Cartoon Network as a made-for-TV movie. A DVD release is planned. This will be released widescreen. The movie will be 73 minutes and 35 seconds long. Z.E.R.O. stands for "Zero's Explanation Reveals Origins!"

Plot/Synopsis

When a new villain eviler than Father planning to turn kids and adults {villains also} into hideously-wrinkly tapioca-eating Senior Citizombies joins forces with Father, Cree, and Chad, the KND are forced to recommission their greatest operative ever who most believe is just a myth (except Numbuh 1 who believes in him), Numbuh Zero, to save not just kids, but the world and along the way the book of KND gets involved. Numbuh 101 gives Numbuh 1 a tracking device {KNDNA Tracker} to track down Numbuh Zero and they must find Numbuh Zero's recommissioning device in the Kids Next Door Seriously Cool Museum Of Artifacts And Stuff. Along the way the origin of the KND and crucial information about the KND and the DCFDTL are revealed.

A 5-minute movie sneak preview previously found on the Cartoon Network website(the preview is no longer showing) begins with Numbuh 1 surrounded by four Lesser Ice Cream Men in the burning Kids Next Door Seriously Cool Museum Of Artifacts And Stuff. He is about to try his new move on them, which he claims is guarenteed to take out four villains at once. Before he can do it though, Mr. Boss yells "retreat" and they and a bunch of other villains run to some ships and fly away and back to their convention center. The rest of Sector V walks up to Numbuh 1, and then head curator of the Museum, Numbuh 101, walks up to them. He is obsessed with Sector V and wants their autographs in red. Sector V walks away when he goes searching for a red crayon, not realizing a case was broken and something crucial was stolen. At Moonbase, Stickybeard and his Candy Pirates are attacking by shooting gum cannons from their flying ships. Sector V gets a transmission from Numbuh 86 who yells at them, and Numbuh 362 pushes her aside and tells what's happening. Numbuh 1 has an idea, so Numbuh 2 drives the ship {S.C.A.M.P.E.R.-S.O.O.P.R.E.M.E.} towards Stikckybeard's ship, the Sweet Revenge. They missed it purposely and fly right over it. Then, Sector V heads towards the Moonbase to fire a torpedo out from the bottom of the S.C.A.M.P.E.R.-S.O.O.P.R.E.M.E., making a hole in the moonbase where the KND have pretzel-making capabilities. The S.C.A.M.P.E.R.-S.O.O.P.R.E.M.E. skids on and loads bags of salt and stops. Numbuh 1 orders everyone out and hits a button, activating fly-mode. Numbuh 1 leaps out of the S.C.A.M.P.E.R.-S.O.O.P.R.E.M.E. and the ship flies into the Sweet Revenge, causing an explosion.

• Gilbert Gottfried will not be in the movie because he turned down the role of Numbuh Zero. The actor will be Peter Capllan. Also, Sandra Bullock who was going to do the role of Numbuh 96, turned down the role as well. Jennifer Hale will do Numbuh 96's voice. Numbuh's 15 & 56, were to have been voiced by Kurtwood Smith. However, Peter Capllan stepped in to do both roles in addition to Numbuh Zero.
