Facts

Most people who live in Sanjurge are old men and women because a lot of its population immigrated to the United States and France in the late 1970s, early 1980s. The majority of Sanjurge's inhabitants cultivate their own fruits and vegetables, raise their own ducks, chickens, and small animals and go into the main city to buy the rest of their everyday needs. There are only two coffee shops and one bar located in the center of this small village. There is also a single classroom school and recreation center a block or two from the center.
