The Boys + Girls EP is an EP released by The Promise Ring. This was the first Promise Ring recording to feature new bassist, Scott Schoenbeck, after original bassist Scott Beschta left the band after rumors -- since proven false [1] -- spread throughout the indie scene that he'd raped a girl at a party. After getting into a car accident (which everyone miraculously survived), they wrote the song "Tell Everyone We're Dead," which ended up becoming one of their more popular songs.
