Caracal is the second studio album by English electronic music duo Disclosure. It was released on 25 September 2015 by PMR and Island.[1] Three official singles have been released from the album: "Holding On" featuring Gregory Porter, "Omen" featuring Sam Smith, and "Jaded", with four promotional singles also being released: "Bang That", "Willing and Able" featuring Kwabs, "Hourglass" featuring Lion Babe and "Magnets" featuring Lorde.
Singles
"Holding On", featuring American jazz musician Gregory Porter, was released as the album's lead single on 26 May. The song peaked at number 46 in the UK Singles Chart.[2] The duo then released "Omen", featuring English recording artist Sam Smith, was the second single on 27 July, which later peaked at number 13 in the UK.[2] Smith has also worked with Disclosure in the past, contributing vocals to duo's hit single "Latch", which peaked at number 11 in the UK[2] and number 7 in the Billboard Hot 100.[3] "Jaded" was released as the third single on 25 September.
Promotional singles
"Bang That" was released as a promotional single on 1 May 2015, however, the song appears on the iTunes deluxe edition of the album instead of the standard edition. On August 14, "Willing and Able", featuring British recording artist Kwabs was released as the second promotional single after having the lyric video being released on Vevo the previous day. On September 11, "Hourglass", featuring American soul duo Lion Babe was released as the third promotional single after having the lyric video be released on Vevo the previous day. On September 24, "Magnets", featuring New Zealand recording artist Lorde was released as the fourth and final promotional single after having the lyric video be released on Vevo the previous day.
Tour
On 23 September 2015, Disclosure announced a four-date UK tour.[4]
