Speedy deletion nomination of The Viking Yurt

A tag has been placed on The Viking Yurt, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. Your submission at Articles for creation: The Viking Yurt (December 3)

While this is potentially an interesting topic (and I need to ask my Park City friend if she's ever been to your place), we need to clear up some major misconceptions:

A restaurant Wikipedia page is about the restaurant, not for the restaurant.

That is, Wikipedia is not here to host an "About Us!!!" page for you, we are not advertising space, we are not a Yelp-type directory that lists hours and prices. Fundamentally, the article has to be something that would be of genuine interest to, say, someone living in Norway or Madagascar fifty years from now when the restaurant is long gone.

Anything that is only of interest to potential customers must be removed. We don't care about your hours, your cancellation policies (seriously dude???), alcohol policy, etc. Fundamentally, Wikipedia only cares about things that objective outside experts have found interesting. If Viking Cuisine Monthly did a feature on your Glogg, by all means put "VC rated TVY's glogg as the most historically authentic glogg in the Western hemisphere" and cite it to that specific article. If the Yale Review of Scandinavian Culture had an essay on fusion diaspora cuisine and spent a paragraph talking about how the restaurant cleverly targeted Swedish Americans through a viral campaign, cite that.

What we don't want is just stuff taken off TVY's website, and while it's okay to cite some basic facts to local newspapers, if there is simply no coverage of this restaurant other than its own site, Yelp-type directories, and local Park City news, then by definition it isn't (yet) significant enough to need a Wikipedia article.
