Orphaned non-free image File:Pokethulhu frontcover.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Pokethulhu frontcover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Dragons

Good adds!  :) Have you seen what I've been doing with Orcus lately? BOZ (talk) 19:38, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I poke in every once in a while and pay attention to what is going on. I'll add more refs as I find them. My son is very into dragons, so we get a lot of dragon books now. Help shore up those refs! Web Warlock (talk) 21:37, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Games+?

Looks like you are gong to be at Games+ in a few weeks. Wish I could join. Is BOZ going to be there too? I met him there years ago. Hobit (talk) 18:54, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know. But I am looking forward to it! Web Warlock (talk) 23:47, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey guys, what weekend is the next GameDay? I might be out of town that weekend. If not, it would be cool to meet up with you! BOZ (talk) 18:57, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
July 14th. I am running Ghosts of Albion 3:30 to 8:30. Stop by and play I have room! Running Blight Web Warlock (talk) 20:04, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Next weekend? Cool, I'll see if I've got any plans and if not I'll try to make it! BOZ (talk) 21:22, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

personal attack in your edit summary

Please do not attack other editors, as you did to Dwarf (Dungeons & Dragons). Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.Folken de Fanel (talk) 21:44, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

From the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Dungeons & Dragons, it seemed like you had access to post-TSR UK copies of White Dwarf magazines, I was wondering if you could check (or recall coming across) anything that would help with the Nymph (Dungeons & Dragons) article? I'm trying to see if I can find some independent sources for it, and I've found some, but I'm not quite confident that it's enough, and I was wondering if you knew of any sources that would help? - SudoGhost 23:26, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I may also have this. I'll have to take a look and get back to you on that. Thanks for helping out! BOZ (talk) 23:52, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would need the issue number though, if you can find one. BOZ (talk) 23:54, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I will look, thanks for the heads up. I have WD from issue 1 to 100, missing about 4 here and there. I am in the process of rereading Issue 29 right now. I know that Issue 13 covers them, but that is smack in the middle of their agreement with TSR. Web Warlock (talk) 07:07, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

gluey

So you are stating that the WD published in 1978 explicitly states that "This monster that we are calling the gluey is going to be published as the adherer in the FF in 1981"? -- The Red Pen of Doom 06:15, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

D&D monster list

Would you be interested in starting back up the discussion at Talk:List of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition monsters? :) BOZ (talk) 21:20, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I will have a look. Web Warlock (talk) 23:45, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bushido (role-playing game), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dragon Magazine (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks!!

A barnstar for you!

AfD Barnstar of Distinction
Please accept this AfD Barnstar of Distinction and my personal gratitude for your work. I appreciate your comments in the recent deletion review Witchhunt discussion. --Sue Rangell 01:34, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OH thanks!! I appreciate this. Thank you! Web Warlock (talk) 01:44, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you don't mind my asking, but i noticed that you comment ok on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Dragonlance artifacts, bot at the AfD and the DRV, I'm curious why you never actually vote? I just wanted to make sure you were aware that all are allowed to vote in those things. :) --Sue Rangell 04:03, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Simple reason. Time. I have not had a chance to do much research on this particular debate. I like to vote when I know I have a good amount research ready to go. Thanks for the note! Web Warlock (talk) 17:01, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent AfD comments

Hi, I saw your commentary here, and thought that it would be better to respond on this page than there. The relevant (and overly strict IMHO) notability standard for many pornography articles on Wikipedia is PORNBIO, which unfortunately excludes "Nominations and awards in scene-related and ensemble categories" or non-final round nominations from consideration. There are also unfortunately a bunch of deletionists that have been active on the pornography pages/discussions for apparently a while now. Some of them aren't even a part of the Pornography project, but many are on display in the above-linked AfD. Some users that are even in the Pornography project unfortunately aren't always sympathetic to letting articles grow over time. Good luck... Guy1890 (talk) 23:55, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Deletionists are one of the reasons I don't bother adding anything to Wikipedia anymore. What the point when some editor with a grudge or on a crusade will just delete for the flimsiest of reasons. Web Warlock (talk) 13:22, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The Dungeons & Dragons Barnstar
For this comment in particular, you have my gratitude. It's wonderful that not only do you have such a massive stockpile of resources, but that you're willing to do the exhausting work of digging through it all. Thank you. —Torchiest talkedits 00:52, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!!

Assumptions of bad faith at AfD

Hi. I noticed that at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Vecna, you have accused the nominator of acting in bad faith. You've also exhibited a similar behavior recently at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Luthic, where you've speculated on/personally attacked the nominator. Please understand that accusations of bad behavior without proper evidence, and made outside of conduct discussion forums, are inappropriate personal attacks. You can (and actually should) express you disagreement on the deletion without resorting to name-calling.Folken de Fanel (talk) 21:20, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your opinion. It means very little to me. Web Warlock (talk) 14:58, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rick Loomis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Origins (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Help with sourcing?

As I recall, you have access to some older paper sources. Any chance you could help with this one? [1]? Hope all is well! Hobit (talk) 03:02, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have a lot of older magazines. I will check. Web Warlock (talk) 17:04, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Belle Knox AFD #2

The second AFD for Belle Knox has been overturned and relisted. As you commented on the original AFD, you may wish to comment on this one as well. As there have been developments and sources created since the time of the original AFD, please review to see if your comments/!vote are the same or may have changed. Gaijin42 (talk)
