72 year-old retired man who competed in athletics as young man (now just walk around the neighborhood, etc),but want to enter a page in Wiki about my alltime favorat athlete who also had a remarkable career at both the scholastic and collegite levels. He was a track champion and record holder in the 440 yard sprint (this was in the 1950s & 1960s before metrics in US)

My first attempt was rejected by "the man" basically because, as I understand it, of the "notablilty" issue
