The Indore–Dehradun Express (Hindi : इन्दौर - देहरादून एक्सप्रेस) alternatively Ujjaini Express (Ujjain–Dehradun–Ujjain) is a bi-weekly train service, which runs between Indore Junction railway station of Indore, the largest city and commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh and Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand in India. The name "Ujjaini Express" refers to the ancient Hindu mythological city named Ujjaini near Indore.
Route and halts
The train goes via: Ujjain, Maksi, Bina, Guna, Gwalior, Agra, Ghaziabad and Meerut. This train is the only connection of Indore to reach Dehradun, Meerut, or Ghaziabad
