She turned professional in 1998, and reached her highest singles ranking on 23 June 2008, when she was ranked Word No. 210. On 18 October 2010, Kondratieva reached No. 48 in doubles. Kondratieva has won one WTA doubles titles and 4 ITF singles titles and 20 ITF doubles titles.
Maria and her partner, Vladimíra Uhlířová, beat Marina Erakovic and Anna Chakvetadze in the final 6–4, 2–6, [10–7]. This was Maria's first time to win a WTA Tour doubles title in her career.
