Lynne Franks (born c. 1949) is one of the best-known public relations consultants in the world, a United Kingdom-based commentator on women's issues, sustainability, and consumer lifestyles. Lynne Franks is the "Be all you want to be" business-woman columnist in the financial pages of London's Sunday Express. She is reputedly also the inspiration for Edina in "Absolutely Fabulous" having founded her first public relations company at her own kitchen table in 1970 when she was twenty-one [1].

Prior to attending the Beijing Women's Conference; she chaired the UK's first women's radio station and has become a spokesperson on women's issues and socially responsible business practices.
