Assessment of Article Draft
Revisions necessary
You are almost ready for mainspace but there a few things you need to fix beforehand:
- All film titles should be italicized.
- Fix your citations - they are all missing key information. Make sure that all references include the author, article/book title, journal/magazine title or publisher info, number and volume (if known), and the date published.
- Also, some of your references are not ideal. For instance, the Focus Features website is promotional and you should try to find the biographical information from a more "independent" source. Similarly, the NY African Film Festival bio actually refers to two different sources where they got their information from. You should check those sources and use those instead (or at least use them in addition to the festival's website). You should make it clear that the NY Film Academy is an interview with the director (it's even in the title, which you've not included).
