Brandon Pirri (born April 10, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He is currently playing for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2nd round (59th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Pirri was recently recalled by the Blackhawks after the NHL lockout ended. Invited to take part in Canada’s 2011 National Junior Team selection camp [1]
During the 2013–14 season, on March 2, 2014, Pirri was traded by the Blackhawks to the Florida Panthers for a 2014 3rd round pick and a 2016 5th round pick.[2]
