Elizabeth (Liz) Lawrence[1] is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, known for her solo work and for being half of electro-pop duo Cash+David.[2][3][4]

Lawrence was a member of Stratford-upon-Avon-based band The Get Free during the 2000s, before embarking on a solo career. She has toured with Bombay Bicycle Club,[5][6] [7] and supported Black, Scouting for Girls, and Ani DiFranco, amongst others.[8][9] Q Magazine compared Lawrence favourably to Florence and the Machine, considering her "a starlet in the making".[10]

Her album, 'Bedroom Hero', was released in January 2013; it reached #2 on the Bandcamp album chart.[10]
