List of cryptids

Cryptid is a term used in cryptozoology—a pseudoscience—to refer to animals and plants whose presumptive existence has been derived from anecdotal or other evidence considered insufficient by mainstream science. Many of these creatures derive from folklore. The present article is a list of such creatures.
